QUALIFICATIONS
My economics degree is from the University of California Santa Cruz. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, Soroptimist, business owner, retired bank manager, former City of South Lake Tahoe Mayor, and City Council member.

My experience includes working with the Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation, Clean Tahoe, Ambulance Services, Tahoe Conservancy, TRPA, Waste Management, and El Dorado Local Agency Formation Commission.

DISTRICT V-IT’S COMPLEX
11 unique and diverse communities make up District V. However, many of our issues are the same: VHR enforcement, fire, and public safety, traffic, over tourism, senior and veteran services, health care, Insurance issues, road improvement/maintenance, changing climate, housing, snow removal, and snow removal equipment.

I have the education and experience to manage over $952,000,000 county budget!

REPRESENTATION
District V includes Tahoma, Meeks Bay, Fallen Leaf, City of South Lake Tahoe, Meyers, Strawberry, Twin Bridges, Kyburz, Phillips, Whitehall, and Pollock Pines.

I intend to represent ALL of these communities and will IMMEDIATELY establish an Advisory Group with a representative from each of these 11 communities.

With a record of working on numerous boards, I have learned to listen, work together, negotiate and compromise to resolve complex issues and arrive at FAIR and MEANINGFUL solutions.
